FAQs
Everything You Need to Know About EPD Solutions
What is an EPD?
An Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) is a verified document that reports the environmental impact of a concrete mix over its lifecycle. It’s used to meet compliance requirements like Buy Clean, LEED, and other low-carbon mandates.
Who needs an EPD?
If you’re a concrete producer bidding on public infrastructure, LEED-certified projects, or jobs in states with low-carbon procurement rules, you likely need verified EPDs.
How long does the EPD process take?
Once up and running you will receive your EPD the day its requested. The entire process takes about 1 week+ from start to finish.
What kind of data do you need from me?
We’ll ask for details like mix designs, raw material sources, production volume, energy usage, and transportation data. Don’t worry—we walk you through it all.
Can you help me meet Buy Clean or LEED requirements?
Yes. That’s a core part of what we do. We ensure your mixes are compliant with Buy Clean CA, LEED v4/v5, and any other regulatory framework your project calls for.
What if I don’t have a sustainability team?
No problem. Most of our clients don’t. We act as your EPD and compliance partner so you can keep your focus on production.
How much does it cost?
Pricing depends on the number of mixes and the complexity of your project. Visit our Pricing page or contact us for a custom quote.
Is this a one-time service or ongoing?
We work with both one-time clients and ongoing partners. If you frequently need EPDs, we offer bundled savings and priority support.
